TAGS

The Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) in Pangasinan, Philippines, has helped over 30,000 people secure birth certificates. This initiative focuses on aiding marginalized communities by eliminating financial and logistical obstacles.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has distributed numerous birth certificates to the beneficiaries. BRAP will continue its efforts in 2025, deploying mobile registration units to reach remote areas, ensuring that even the most isolated communities can access this vital service.

This initiative ensures access to vital services like healthcare, education, and government benefits by providing legal birth recognition.  The project aims to boost birth registration rates and underscore the importance of official birth certificates for accessing these crucial services and other opportunities.
